ABOUT MEgHann

Meghann Saige Volz is a warm, grounding, and uplifting yoga instructor, teacher trainer, and retreat facilitator with over a decade of experience. Her journey began at 17 when yoga supported her athletic pursuits but soon became a refuge and healing tool during life's challenges. After enduring personal hardships, including family struggles, unhealthy patterns, and a violent relationship, Meghann found resilience through yoga and nature, much like the wildflowers blooming in unlikely places.

In 2014, she turned her life around, becoming the first in her family to attend college while navigating light and darkness to find wholeness. Completing her 200-hour teacher training was transformative, deepening her self-awareness and commitment to creating safe, welcoming spaces for all. By 2018, Meghann earned her 300-hour certification from The River Yoga and a Trauma-Informed Certificate from Buffalo + Sparrow.

With 4000+ hours of teaching, Meghann offers diverse yoga modalities, including Vinyasa, Deep Stretch, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Buti, Paddleboard, Prenatal, Sculpt, and Breathwork. Her philosophy centers on cultivating clarity, compassion, and connection to the mind, body, and soul. Through her classes, workshops, and retreats, Meghann guides others toward deep healing, renewal, and self-discovery, always embracing her role as a lifelong student.

My middle name is Saige, which signifies wisdom and resilience. I’ve often been told I embody the resilience and vibrancy of wildflowers, thriving with tenacity and grace in the face of challenges.

The root of the word "sage" comes from the Latin word salvia, meaning "to heal" or "to save." This reflects the plant's historical use in healing and medicinal practices, symbolizing wisdom, protection, and longevity. The term "sage" also denotes a person of profound knowledge and judgment, emphasizing the qualities of resilience and insight associated with the name.

Just as sage is revered for its healing properties and profound strength, I strive to bring these qualities to Wild Saige, guiding others to discover their own strength and beauty through mindful exploration and personal growth.
